CONTRIBUTIONS OF RECORD

One of the standards we use for keeping track of who is an active adult member of St. Paul’s is making a “contribution of record.”  What exactly does that mean?  It means that you need to make a financial contribution to the support of the church at least annually, and that we need to be able to say, “this dollar came from this person.”  There are 3 ways you can do that.
The first is to use the regular offering envelopes, which are number – coded, so that we know who is making a contribution.  If you do not have or can not find your offering envelopes, please let the church office know and we will provide you with some.
The second way, even if you prefer not to use envelopes, is to make a contribution by check.  Since your name is on the check, we can identify the source of the contribution.
The third way is to participate in the “Simply Giving” program.  This is a program which allows you to have your offering directly deducted from your bank account and deposited in the church’s account.  You decide on the amount and frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.) of your gift.  Each time a transfer is made, both you and the church receive an acknowledgment.  If you think you might be interested in this program, please talk to Ruth Kennedy.
Whichever method you prefer, your regular offering of financial support to your church is an important part of Christian living.
