Luger Yachts assists owners by offering a valuable collection of photographs, catalog descriptions, specifications, useful links and more. Luger Industries began selling kit boats in 1952, and was considered "The World's Largest Manufacturer of Kit Boats" for 35 years before closing for business in 1987.

A 1987 Luger Boats catalog was the source of some model data on this website. I have several unused copies, if anyone would like one. To help defray costs, I thought $5 an issue would not be too excessive (that includes postage).

The Luger Yachts website is the reference website for Luger's powerboats, and was created as a "resource extension" of The Luger Boats InterNetwork of Websites. Luger Industries began their 35 year reign as "The World's Largest Manufacturer of Kit Boats" in 1952 with the introduction of precision cut wooden boat kits. Since the company's reputation and longevity was primarily due to the overwhelming success of these powerboat kits, it seemed natural to dedicate a website to the wooden AND all-fiberglass runabouts, cruisers, houseboats and yachts of Luger Industries, Inc.
I do not mean to misrepresent myself as an authority - I am a Luger powerboatowner with an opportunity to share the information I have compiled while doing research for The Luger Sailboat Mooring (www.lugerboats.com). The data on www.lugeryachts.com has been researched before publication - nevertheless, I cannot be held responsible for incorrect or misleading information. Content is provided solely as a helpful guide.
