FYI:  This list IS NOT sold to advertisers or commercial interests, and IS NOT posted it on the web.
It is only distributed to other Luger owners on The Register.

I value the privacy of our listees, and request listed owners share that responsibility,
and not take advantage of the information contained within The Register.
(I have a grudge against SPAM.)

Two Sample Submissions:

Your "profile" doesn't need to be very long (example #1); but adding personal information (example #2) will allow other Luger owners to not only know if there's another owner in their area, but if they are of a similar sailing skill, working on the same project, or in need of advice they can supply.

Info:    I have owned my 1981 Luger Leeward for five years. Purchased from the original owner/builder, she was [finally] launched last summer after minor renovation work was finished. (There wasn't that much work - I was just slow.)
I sail at Rocky Gap State Park's Lake Habeeb. It's not very big - but it's only ten minutes away. My Leeward handled nicely, and it was very pleasant sitting in "real seats" after having sailed mostly catamarans and sailboards previously.
The boat, sails, and rigging were purchased in really good shape (especially considering her age), and the trailer only needed "tweaking" of its lighting system. I was lucky - the previous owner kept all his documentation: the bill of sale, a set of blueprints and two catalogs.
I added teak handrails along the top deck because I thought they looked nice. My Leeward didn't come with a floor, so I placed "Dry Deck" locking tiles for safety. I will probably replace them with a "proper" wooden floor to achieve a coordinated "look" with the other wooden parts (tiller, centerboard well cap, etc.) - AND, there's the added structural stability a wooden floor will provide. I also plan to build a tip-up rudder to make beaching and launching easier on me and the transom.
If anyone is interested, I have a webpage with photos of my Luger:
