Sea Wind 24 Catamaran: The concept is a high performance, trailerable multihull, with the accommodation and stability required for safe family cruising. The Sea Wind 24 is the most successful boat of its type in the world, and are being built in America and Australia.
Excellent light air performance comes from the fine entry bows and fineness of the hulls on the waterline. In heavy air the boat is incredibly fast, due not only to the stability afforded by the massive 16-foot beam, but also by the reserve buoyancy above the waterline, particularly in the bows, which minimizes the risk of diving the bows under.
The Sea Wind 24's high pointing ability and her ease of tacking without the need to backwind the jib is achieved by the twin retractable daggerboards and the fully-balanced Ackerman system rudders. The angled daggerboards have a stabilizing effect particularly in gusty conditions, the tops of the decks are rounded to shed water, should you ever need to ride out a storm, or run before big following seas.

The result is the Sea Wind 24 will point and tack like a monohull, yet do up to 14 knots to windward, and well over 20 knots off the wind.

Tradewinds 26: The Tradewinds self-bailing cockpit has chair-height seating with deep, molded-in backrests, and its 6'9" length provides comfortable seating for 6 to 8. Rain and spray are carried overboard through drain in the footwell cockpit. All surfaces used for standing, sitting or walking have molded-in non-skid finish. Fiberglass hatch in cockpit seat opens to stow sail bags and other bulky gear. Lazarette storage compartment stows anchor, outboard fuel tank and battery.
The swing keel and tip-up rudder system automatically ride up and over underwater obstructions. Your Tradewinds sails with her keel and rudder fully down, fully retracted, or at any intermediate setting. Tradewinds sails in just 26" of water!

Trade Winds & West Wind 26: For a brief period in the late sixties, Luger manufactured these two predecessors to the Tradewinds (previously described). The Trade Winds' aft cabin was a distinguishable feature, usually found only in larger boats, and made this early Trade Winds remarkable. The West Wind and Trade Winds were built on the same all-fiberglass 26' hull, and both models used the same sail plan. The only difference between the two was in appearance of superstructure and deck, cockpit and cabin arrangement - with the Westwind having an open cockpit (less the after cabin) . A noteworthy feature was Luger's extensive use of solid mahogany throughout the vessel - especially the 3/4" mahogany cabin sides and cockpit coaming. (From the 1966 catalog.)
Length: Gunwale- 27' 2"; Centerline- 26' 6"; Waterline- 23'. Width: Transom at deck- 63"; Beam- 7' 11". Hull depth: Midship- 42"; Bow- 52". Forward cabin headroom: 60". Draft: 36". Ballast (outside): 800 lbs. Mast- 26'; Boom- 14' 6". Sail area (main and jib): 276 sq.ft.

Fairwinds 27: All lines controlling Fairwinds sails are led to quick acting cam cleats within easy reach when seated at the tiller. And the Fairwinds rudder can be assembled to "tip-up" so the rudder, like the ballasted swing keel, will automatically ride up and over underwater obstructions.
Luger's Fairwinds 27 is self-righting and she's as stiff and resistant to heeling as many boats having broader beams and more ballast. The secret - a slightly turned bilge and her wide transom stern together with heavily ballasted low riding swing keel.
The Fairwinds also features roller reefing of the mainsail - enabling reduction of sail area quickly and safely.
Length: Gunwale, 27'2"; Centerline, 26'11"; Waterline, 23'3". Beam: (Width) 8'. Draft: Swing keel up, 27''; Fully down, 81". Sail Area: Mainsail, 160 sq. ft.; Working jib, 75 sq.ft.; Total, 235 sq.ft. Headroom: Cockpit seat to boom, 57"; Cockpit footwell to boom, 72".

Voyager 30: Available with either a sloop or a ketch rig, your Voyager has all the sailing performance demanded by a water-wise skipper plus the comfort and convenience expected by a family crew. Voyager's 6'4" headroom and comfortable live-aboard accommodations make her a real sailing home. Unique features - shoal draft (only three feet with centerboard up), optional inboard mounted auxiliary outboard motor, an 8-foot trailerable beam - all at an extremely low cost, put the Voyager in a class by herself.
Voyager is self-righting. Even if knocked down flat by extremely rough conditions, she rights herself immediately. When the wind pipes up, jiffy reefing of the mainsail (mainsail is equipped with reef points) enables you to reduce sail quickly and safely.
Length: Gunwale, 30' 6"; Centerline, 29' 11"; Waterline, 26' 2". Beam: (Width) 8'. Draft: 3'0" to 6'0" with optional centerboard full down.

Adventurer 30: The versatile Adventurer combines economical power cruising with even more economical motorsailing. Complete your Adventurer as a pure power cruiser - or add the optional sloop or ketch motorsailer rig to cruise anywhere at all with no cost. Whether ketch or sloop rigged, the Adventurer sails along smartly at a good turn of speed - and her long molded-in keel enables her to point high and do exceptionally well to windward. The keel also provides complete protection to rudder and propellor. Adventurer's 'relatively hard' rounded bilge sections minimize roll and keep her straight tracking and easy to handle even in following and quartering seas. (From the 1987 catalog.)
