Flying Cloud 14: The Flying Cloud is extemely maneuverable and instantly responsive in even a whispering breeze. Her planing, semi-V bottom hull will out-perform anything in her class, plus many larger boats as well, in light and heavy winds. And her water-tight, air-chamber pontoon type hull makes the Flying Cloud impossible to swamp or sink.
The Flying Cloud sails best with one or two aboard, but offers a crew capacity of 400 pounds. The loded-in non-skid deck surface and conveniently located mahogany handrails help keep you balanced. There's a solid mahogany daggerboard which slips easily through a hull slot. And the rudder "tips up" for beaching and damage prevention. (From 1970 catalog.)
Length: Gunwale 14'. Waterline 6'5". Beam: (width) 35". Draft: Daggerboard up 9"; Fully down 28". Sail Area: 76 sq ft. Weight: Hull 99 lbs.

Spindrift 14: Luger's Spindrift 14 is a lively one-design sailer and has many of the same design features as other Olympic style performance racing machines, such as the Laser and Force 5 - at a savings of hundreds of dollars.
Luger's Spindrift 14 has flat-out planing performance and is sleek, simple and light enough to be cartop transported or towed on a Luger trailer by the smallest of compact cars. You go from 'trailer to sail her' in just a few minutes - all you do is slip the unstayed mast into the hull, slide the end fitting on the boom into its slot on the mast, slip the rudder and daggerboard into place and sail away!
The daggerboard lowers or raises and the rudder removes or tips up for beaching and shallow water sailing. Her wide beam makes her stable and she's self-rescuing and unsinkable (when foam flotation, as recommended by Luger, is installed within the hull).
Length: Gunwale 14'2"; Centerline 13'10"; Waterline 13'7". Beam: (width) 55". Draft: Daggerboard up 3"; Fully down 31". Sail Area: 77 sq ft. Weight: 130 lbs. Mast length: 20'. Mast and Boom: Extruded, anodized aluminum alloy 6063-T5. (Taken from 1982 catalog)

Scamper and Zephyr 15: Do you like the sailing thrills of sailboards but prefer to stay dry? Luger's Zephyr and Scamper are the answer. Both models are exactly alike - both have the same generous wide beam, deep hull and roomy cockpit. The only difference between them is the sail plan.
The planing semi-V bottom hull of both models gives excellent performance in smooth and rough waters and in light to heavy winds. Their watertight air chamber pontoon type hull makes them impossible to swamp or sink. The molded-in, non-skid surfaces in the cockpit and in decks make for sure footing.

The Zephyr is sloop rigged with both main and jib sail and increased sail area produces maximum performance. This is the model most preferred by experienced sailors. The Scamper is lanteen rigged (right photo) and excellent for all-around performance and is especially well suited for the beginning sailor. This sail plan takes even less time to rig before getting underway.

Windward 16: This 16' sloop is ideal for day sailing, and has a wide, open cockpit accommodating up to six. The Windward offers deck seating. Assembled boat is rigidly braced internally, with factory pre-cut wooden reinforcing members, fiberglass-bonded to the hull's interior.
The mast may be stepped on deck (or cabin top). Stays are quickly disconnected enabling easy take down of mast for transport. Rudder is easily removable for beaching and trailering. The Windward is arranged for easy single handed sailing - she works very well to windward, too. (From the 1964 catalog.)

Leeward 16: Luger's Leeward is one of the most popular sailboats ever built. She's been in continous production for over 20 years and has been successfully completed by thousands of owners. Leeward's semi-planing hull is exceptionall stable and gives top performance on the open water. The cockpit seats six on chair height seats with form fitting backrests. For easy single-handed sailing, all liones controlling main and jib sails and the raising/lowering of centerboard are within easy reach while seated at the tiller. And when the wind picks up, roller reefing of the mainsail enables quick reduction of mainsail area.
The centerboard swings up and over underwater obstructions, and retracts completely within the fully enclosed centerboard trunk - for beaching and trailering. The rudder is instantly removable (without tools) and you can assemble the rudder to "tip up" to further simplify beaching/trailering.
Gunwale Length: 16,8"'; Centerline: 16'. Beam (width): 75". Mast: 20'. Boom: 9',11". Sails Area: Main, 95 sq.ft.; Jib, 45 sq.ft.; Total, 140 sq.ft.
