Pastor Stephen F. Yelovich
Pastor Yelovich is a native of Pennsylvania.
He was born in Bethlehem, PA. He received his B.A. at Kutztown State University
and his M. Divinity at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, PA.
He has also done graduate work in history at Marywood College in Scranton, PA.
He did his internship at Grace Lutheran Church in Phoeniz, AZ. He has served
churches in Reading, PA, Scranton, PA, Centre Hall, PA, Williamsport, PA, Garrett
County, MD, and now at St. Luke's Lutheran in Cumberland, MD where he has been
since 1994.
Pastor Yelovich is married to Margaret Ann Preletz. They celebrated their 36th
wedding anniversary in August 2001. They have 4 children: Sonya Sell, Andrei,
Larisa, and Tatiana, and two grandchildren, John Sell, and Alexander Yelovich.
Pastor loves to read history, watch college and NFL football, the olympics,
and watch old tapes of the "Andy Griffith Show". He loves the church and its
people. His ministry includes preaching, visiting, teaching, and theology.
